Was lost but now I'm back

Hello Everyone, I know its been a long time but when your computer is dead its kind of hard to blog. Anyway I'm back!!! And I've kept busy been working on crocheted book marks of thread and wire, also I'm doing snowflakes of wire and beads .I finished starching and glittering the thread ones so now I have to package those and get tags on them. I'm also knitting slipper socks for the family Christmas exchange. Well since the putter is back up I'll get busy and scan some of the stuff I've got done and post them soon .Love to all Mar

A pre P.S. this was going to be such a good post I did two pairs of soxs and book marks for church and then I just started off on the whining sorry in advance Mar. Hi , Sorry about the spread in posts .I have been sooooo lazy, I've barely left the house for more than a month . Oh I've gone to the grocery and pharmacy but that's about all . I guess that the weather has some thing to do with it . I do have to confess that I have a bit of a problem with depression. I've been on med.s for a long time. And because I don't have any heath ins. I cant afford to go see my MD. To get a renewal on the rx so I've been weaning myself off of them and its been ok except that I just don't want to go out, messing with getting ready and trying to get my son together ,witch is a BIG pain in the b--. Anyway we've had no extra cash to be able to do anything that costs money. I guess that's all the whining I'll do for today and pray that tomorrow is better and the posts from now on will be better sorry . Luv Mar

Children & Parents rolls reversed

Hello Everyone, I love my little girl so much. But I think, that she thinks, I don't have anything to do all day. Just because I'm a stay at home mom. She's asked me to make cell phone charms for her church and crocheted cross bookmarks, and wants to pick them up Monday. Here's a pic of the charm's she described and I did up for her. She wants oh, about ten or so, and there's 3-4 designs of bookmarks. Oh well, we will see how many get done by Monday. I like helping her but, as she's grown older it seems that she's becoming the "responsible"one. I know that she knows my history, and frankly it's not pretty, but that was a long time ago. She's now a church secretary and very serious about religion. You have to realize that I was a teen in the 60's and it formulated a moderate and free will type of person that I am. So, I'm very happy that she found her way to God, but it seem's that she wants more from me than just a occasional book mark. Anyway I'll get them done and love her forever. A summer slow down

Hi Everyone, I guess I'm not the Only one to be lax in blogging lately. I was just surfing around the blogs I read and I believe that everyone's on vacation. I know that I have found it hard to get anything done that requires thinking in this heat. Anyway my daughter is coming out to visit and take her brother to the movies. What does a crocheter do on vacation?

Hi everyone, oh yea, I've taken a few days off of crocheting and what does one do when not crocheting? Well I tried not doing anything but I just couldn't help myself, I dug out my old knitting needles and cast on a pair of socks. Yup I knit, I haven't done any in a long time but I had to do something, and I did promise my honey that I would take a break from crocheting oh well, it was kind of refreshing to do some thing different for a change. I was reading some blogs of our friends in the crochet world and it seems that their stretching to at least learn how to knit. I also read some knitting blogs and not to many know how to crochet. I think the more you know the more well rounded you are. Anyway they turned out kind of cute I think ,I'll have to have to try to take a pic. Of my feet and show you .
